Meet at the airport and begin our journey! Breakfast in Khabib Nurmagomedov restaurant - "Papakha".
We’ll drive along a scenic mountain road through the longest road tunnel in Russia. Next, we’ll visit the Irganai Reservoir with its turquoise waters. A delicious mountain lunch with beautiful views will break up our drive. Our goal is the Tobot waterfall, which will captivate you with its grandeur and surrounding landscapes. After, we’ll explore the Matlas Nature Park and experience the Dagestan “Narnia” – a stone bowl, an ideal spot to witness a stunning sunset. We then settle into a cozy mountain home, “At Aunt Zainab’s,” which offers all the comforts of home, including delicious khinkal, Aunt Zainab’s signature apricot porridge, and a traditional Dagestan breakfast.

We head to the Karadak Gorge, explore, capture amazing photos, and experience emotions that will leave you yearning to return. Our journey then takes a mystical turn as we visit the abandoned village of Old Kahib and the defensive towers in the village of Goor at sunset, for their unique Dagestan charm is a sight to behold. We’ll check into a stylish mountain house with all amenities and a breathtaking view. En route, we’ll visit an ancient mountain monastery, nearly 1000 years old!

We rise early and head to the most unusual waterfall in Dagestan, the underground Seltin Waterfall. We then visit the village of Chokh, a place steeped in history with breathtaking views. We’ll sample authentic Chokh botiшал (a local dish) before heading to the ghost village of Gamshutl, where everyone will be captivated by the mystical atmosphere of a village that has been abandoned for nearly 40 years. After sunset in the mountains, we return to our cozy house and relax before the final day’s packed itinerary.

We enjoy a morning amidst the mountains and head to the largest reservoir in the North Caucasus, the Chirkey Reservoir, where a thrilling boat ride awaits. After, we’ll have our final lunch and enjoy the famous view from the observation deck of the Sulak Canyon. On our way to Makhachkala airport, we’ll visit the Sarykum Sand Dune, the setting for the famous russian film “White Sun of the Desert.”
